About Us
Becoming Evergreen is a growth community for leaders who are ready to re-engage their purpose, deepen their relationships with God and others, and bear lasting fruit—in their homes, work, communities, and relationships.
We believe personal growth isn’t a solo journey or a vague aspiration. It’s a deeply rooted process—anchored in identity, shaped by insight, sustained by rhythms, and supported by relationships. When these four components work together, they result in lasting impact: a life that flourishes and helps others do the same.

Our Core Beliefs
Meet Our Founders
Deborah Brunet and Carissa Fleming met in the dorms at Biola University while studying Communication Studies—and have been journeying together ever since. They bring a shared passion for helping leaders live with clarity, depth, and purpose.
They came together to launch Becoming Evergreen because they were seeing the same thing everywhere:
People are craving more.
Not more hustle. Not more striving. But more clarity. More depth. More purposeful connection.
That’s what Becoming Evergreen was born to offer.
We were tired of watching leaders with deep faith and real gifts feel stuck—burned out, overlooked, or unsure of what’s next. We knew there had to be a better way to grow: one that honors the seasons of life and the soul.
Becoming Evergreen is a space for transformation—where you get to step away, realign, and grow without distraction. It’s rooted in faith and patterned after the natural world: steady, seasonal, and full of unseen progress.
This work isn’t about achievement.
It’s about becoming.
Becoming someone who is grounded, growing, and fruitful in every season—even the hard ones.
Evergreen trees don’t wait for perfect conditions to flourish.
They grow deep roots.
They stay green in winter, fall, spring, and summer.
That’s the vision for this space—and for the leaders we walk alongside.
